Åmål Kayak Fishing Challenge 2023 will take place on lake Vänern on May 18-19-20th in 2023. One lucky winner will get a Hobie Euros ticket and prizes worth over € 2 000. It's time to crown the best kayak angler in Scandinavia 2023. Lets go!

Åmål Fishing Kayak Fishing Challenge 2022 was a total success! With over 37 participants, Finn Sloth from Denmark snatched the win, earning a Hobie Worlds ticket and a brand new Hobie Kayak. Quick facts.
When.
18, 19 and 20th of may 2023. Pre-fish thursday (voluntary) and competition friday and saturday. These dates usually provide the best weather conditions Sweden has to offer. For participants with long flights we're able to provide rental kayaks.

Where.
Lake Vänern, Sweden – the arena for 2 consequtive Hobie World Championships prior to this years event. Together with Dalsland Outdoors we've reserved the best spot for fishing competitions in Scandinavia.

We will have representatives on site from our sponsors and the prize table is bigger than ever. The winner will go home with prizes with a value over € 2 000 and a Hobie Euros ticket! This will for sure be the coolest competition of the year! Don't sleep on it.
Just as an FYI.
This years event starts on thursday the 18ᵗʰ and ends with a ceremonial dinner on saturday the 20ᵗʰ. Lets create some magical days together. We will offer all anglers an outstanding package with great food, great fishing and a major prize table. This is a event you can not miss. See you in May!
